Consultants Exchange Limited (CXC) Consultants Exchange Pty Ltd (CXC) was founded in Sydney, Australia in 1992 by the current CEO, Dave Thomas.

The company quickly grew to become the largest and most reputable company of its kind in Australia, with Dave leading the way in establishing the payment of contractors through management companies as a recognised medium in the industry.

CXC were the first affiliated (non-recruitment) member of ITCRA — the Information Technology and Contractor Recruitment Association, and the founding members of ACPMA — Australian Contract Professionals Management Association.

Offices in other major cities in Australia followed over the next few years. CXC started to expand globally in 1999 with the opening of the CXC UK office.
